John, over at the Sacramento Real Estate blog has some early MLS numbers for June.

the Sac Bee spams me all the time, I found this one to be pretty sad:
"The sky's the limit at this once-in-a-lifetime Woodbury Glen Skydiving Event where nine professional skydivers will jump from over 13,000 feet! You won't want to miss this exhilarating and informative event! We are taking the fear out of purchasing a new home by providing free loan consultations and credit analysis from Family Lending, free market-analysis of your existing home from Cobblestone Real Estate, an informative seminar on staging your existing home for sale from "We Stage", on-site design consultants to assist you in incorporating your personal design style and incentive packages worth up to $75,000."
Freakin' skydivers??
I'm having terrible, evil thoughts about the symbolism involved if -- heaven forbid! -- there was a skydiving accident that day.
Yeah, the pace of SacBee real estate spam has picked up lately. It used to be one a month or so, and now some weeks I get two or three.
Where can one find those Tshirts for sale!
Thanks divotmaker and happy renter!
I like this one better.

I love the euphamism like 'slowing' to describe the market. What BS.
I can't see to many LA commuters driving from Bakersfield to their long distance jobs for much longer. Round trip your looking at 230 miles plus traffic jam idle time. Oil at $78.00 a barrel equates to around $3.70 a gallon here. Lately I have noticed some Caravans i.e' carpoolers chugging down the I-5. They must be getting
desperate. Some are moving back home already...Good riddance.
